Our custom-designed universal housing brings modern cinema cameras below the surface, with support for ARRI 265, ARRI 35 and ARRI 35 Extreme, as well as RED Raptor and Sony Venice workflows.
Nathan Frost is an ADAS certified commercial diver with a certificate IV in Hyperbaric operations. This meets the Australian Underwater Film Standards (AU/NZ 2299.4) for the recommended training to provide underwater production services in Australia & supervise diving operations on Film & TV productions.
We’re able to provide additional safety divers/supervisors to meet regulatory standards for diving work to suit the project.
We have all our inhouse scuba diving equipment including, BCD’s, Regulators, Dive Tanks & Dive watches. For anything extra such as Boats, Skippers, Jetskis & Safety divers we can supply these through our extensive range of THIRD PARTY providers
For complex pool work we can arrange surface to diver comms and in pool speakers for “VOICE OF GOD”

- Manual and tethered control options for ARRI 265, ARRI 35, ARRI 35 Extreme and RED Raptor.
- Tethered camera control from the surface for supported camera systems, including Sony Venice / Venice 2.
- Underwater cabling options include SDI, power, ARRI EXT/control, LBUS and Ethernet.
Built to adapt to the camera package and the demands of the shoot, The Black Pearl gives larger productions a flexible underwater setup with control and monitoring options to suit the job.

The Dutchman is ideal for Tank Work and larger scale productions where full camera control is required with our SDI & WCU4 controls. It can also be built out into a more compact mode and smaller camera systems for higher end Doco work when required.

The stingray is great for smaller budget productions. The quality of the FX3 stacks up well for online marketing & social media content. The great thing is the smaller camera body can take a bit more of a beating in the surf and is great for maneuvering around quickly.
“The Shark” — Sony FX5 Underwater Housing
Small form factor. Serious cinema capability. The Shark pairs a compact underwater housing with Sony FX5 full-frame 5K imaging.
FX5 camera highlights:
- 5K full-frame stacked Exmor RS sensor.
- 5K Open Gate capture up to 60 fps in X-OCN.
- Internal 16-bit X-OCN RAW recording.
- 4K slow motion up to 120 fps in full-frame crop mode.
